Ride-hailing drivers
What do you keep from each trip? Know your cost per km first
Your platform app shows what you earn, not what your car costs. Sayarti+ logs fuel, service, tyres and the car loan, and works out what every kilometre costs you. For drivers on Uber, Careem, inDrive, Bolt and DiDi, and taxi and limousine drivers.
Sayarti+ is independent and not connected to any ride-hailing platform.

Cost per km
Why cost per km is the number that matters
ExampleIf your car costs 0.40 per km and a trip pays 0.90 per km, you keep 0.50 per km, before empty kilometres. Short trips in traffic and long drives without a passenger can eat that up. Once you know your number, decisions get quick: take this trip? Work at this hour? Switch to CNG?
Where cost per km comes from: a Saudi and an Egyptian example
A mid-size sedan doing 5,000 km a month. Fuel is only part of the cost; service, tyres and the loan add a lot.
Example with sample numbers
| Item | Saudi Arabia (SAR, per month) | Egypt (EGP, per month) |
|---|---|---|
| Fuel (8 L/100 km × today's price) | – | – |
| Oil, filters, service | 250 | 1,500 |
| Tyres (spread over months) | 150 | 900 |
| Loan or rent | 1,800 | 9,000 |
| Insurance and registration (÷ 12) | 150 | 700 |
| Cost per km = total ÷ 5,000 | – | – |
Notice: the loan alone can be half the cost per km. The more km you drive in a month, the smaller the loan's share of each km.

A working car
What Sayarti+ tracks for a working car
Fuel in 3 taps between trips, and your real consumption, full tank to full tank
Service by km: a working car covers thousands of km a month, so oil and tyre reminders arrive on time
The car loan or rent, and how many payments are left
Fines, parking, washes and every other cost, with the receipt photo
A monthly report: cost per km, cost per day and spend by category
A 10-minute weekly routine
You don't need a complicated sheet. Four steps are enough to know where your money goes:
- Every fill-up: log it in 3 taps before you leave the station.
- End of the week: update the odometer and add washes, parking and fines with the receipt photo.
- Compare cost per km with last week: an unexplained rise means check tyres and oil.
- Start of the month: open the monthly report and subtract the costs from your earnings in the calculator to see your net.
Taxi or limousine driver?
Same idea: log the car's costs and know your cost per km. If you run a limousine company or several cars and drivers, Sayarti+ Business shows the cost of each car and each driver.
Sayarti+ BusinessIn Egypt: is a CNG conversion worth it?
Taxi and ride-hailing drivers cover long distances, so some pay back a CNG conversion faster. Run your own numbers.
CNG payback (Egypt)Own the car and have someone else drive it?
Many owners run one or more cars on ride-hailing apps with a hired driver. Then it's hard to know what the driver spent on fuel and service, or whether the car is using more than usual. With Sayarti+ Business the driver logs fill-ups and service from their phone with the receipt photo, you see the cost of each car and each driver, and you're alerted when a car uses more than its average.
Sayarti+ tracks costs and deadlines; it doesn't track the car's location or record trip income.

Tips
Tips to keep more of what you earn
- Always count empty kilometres
- Keep tyre pressure right, especially in summer
- Change the oil on time; a working car gets there faster
- Cut long idling with the AC on
- Compare cost per km every month: a sudden rise means check the car
- Keep service receipts; they help when you sell
When does a working car stop paying?
As a car ages, service and repair costs climb, so cost per km rises even when fuel stays the same. Watch three signs in your monthly report:
Then compare today's cost per km with a newer car's payment in the car loan calculator before you decide.
Service and repairs cost more than fuel in more than one month
Cost per km is up a quarter or more on last year

FAQ
FAQ
How much does an Uber driver make after fuel?
It varies by city, hours and the car's consumption. Subtract fuel, service, the loan and insurance from your monthly earnings, or use the calculator above.
Does Sayarti+ record my Uber or Careem income?
No. Today the app logs your car's costs and works out cost per km. Enter your income in the calculator on this page to see your net.
Is the app connected to Uber, Careem or inDrive?
No. Sayarti+ is independent of every platform and doesn't read your account there.
How do I work out my car's cost per km?
Add up the month's car costs (fuel, service, loan, insurance…) and divide by the kilometres. Sayarti+ does it for you from your log.
Is the app free?
Yes. Free covers 2 cars with all logging and basic reports.
What's a normal cost per km for an Uber or Careem car?
There's no single number: it depends on consumption, fuel price, the loan and monthly distance. Work out yours from your real costs and compare it month to month.
Do empty kilometres count?
Yes. The car burns fuel and wears tyres without a passenger too, so divide your costs by every kilometre.
I have two or more cars with drivers. What should I use?
Sayarti+ Business: drivers are free, you pay by number of cars, with a 14-day free trial and no card.
